How To Use Rhythm In Singing

Hellow everyone. How are you all? I hope you are very well. In the previous part that we discussed, how to make Palta or Alankar and I gave you the first few phrases of that Paltas to make it completely. I hope you have been able to create those Paltas. If there is any problem, please let me know in the comment box. Today I will discuss an important topic. When we practice a sargam Palta or Alankar, then it has to be done maintaining a tempo. As clock moves at regular intervals, in the same way, we have to do a song or a sargam  while maintaining that tempo. Please read the whole post without skipping it. I hope you all like this part.

First of all, let me give you an example. Suppose we do Sa Re Ga Ma one after the other in tri-taal or teen-taal, then it will be like this -

Dha Dhin Dhin Dha I Dha Dhin Dhin Dha I Na Teen Teen Na I Ta Dhin Dhin Dha

Sa    Re    Ga    Ma  I  Pa   Dha   Ni    Sa  I  Sa    Ni   Dha  Pa I  Ma  Ga    Re   Sa

Thus we have to practice following each beat. There are 16 beats in this teen taal. Exactly in this way different beat is use in different taals. In an earlier part about the Teen-taal that I discussed with you. So I understanding you using with teen taal. I told you with a simple sargam. In the same way, if we practice a Palta, we still need to follow this tempo. As such -

Dha Dhin Dhin Dha I Dha Dhin Dhin Dha I Na Teen Teen Na I Ta Dhin Dhin Dha

SS    RR   GG  MM  I  SR   GM  PDh  NS I  SS  NN  DhDh PP I SN  DhP  MG  RS

(Saa = S, Re = R, Ga = G, Ma = M, Pa = P, Dha = Dh, Ni = N)

I hope you all understand what I mean. The 10 Paltas that I told you to make in the previous part, you will practice these with teen taal in this way. You can also show me in writing. If there is any difficulty, I will definitely help you.

Today's part I end here. I hope you all like this part. If there is any difficulty in understanding, please let me know by writing in the comment box. I will try to answer all your questions. If you like these posts of mine, then you must share these posts with your friends. I will bring the next part for you very soon. You will follow my site. Everyone will be fine and stay healthy. Thank you all very much.
