So I request everyone to read the whole post well without skipping anywhere. So let's get started.
The part I talked about earlier about the teen taal, I said, there are 16 beats of teen taal. Teen taal made in 4/4 rhythm. When clapping your hands, you have to clap at the 1st beat or matra, you have to clap at the 5th matra and you have to clap at the 13th matra. Only the 9th matra is empty or faak. In the same way, there are many taals and the number of beat of taals is different. Some taals have same matras, but their rhythms are different. Today I will discuss 4 rhythms with you.
1) Keherwa Taal : This rhythm is of 8 matras. The Bol or Theka of this taal is - Dha Ge Na Ti I Na Ka Dhi Na. The first matra of this taal of 8 beats is SOM. That means you have to clap your hands at the first matra and The fifth matra of this taal is FAAK or KHALI. That means hands on the fifth matra that will must be show empty. This taal is made on 4/4 rhythm.
2) Dadra Taal : This rhythm is of 6 matra. The Bol or Theka of this taal is - Dha Dhin Na I Na Tin Na. The first matra of this taal of 6 beats is SOM. That means you have to clap your hands at the first matra and The fourth matra of this taal is FAAK or KHALI. hat means hands on the fourth matra that will must be show empty. This taal is made on 3/3 rhythm.
3) Teora Taal : This rhythm is of 7 matra. The Bol or Theka of this taal is - Dhi Dhi Na I Dhi Na I Dhi Na. The first matra of this taal of 7 beats is SOM. That means you have to clap your hands at the first matra and you have to clap your hands at the fourth and sixth matra also. This means that the taal does not have any FAAK or KHALI. This taal is made on 3/2/2 rhythm.
4) Rupak Taal : This rhythm is of 7 matra also. The Bol or Theka of this taal is - Tin Tin Na I Dhi Na I Dhi Na. The first matra of this taal of 7 beats is FAAK or KHALI. That means, at first you have to show empty hand in first matra. Then you have to clap your hands at the fourth and sixth matra. That means there is no SOM in this taal. This taal also is made on 3/2/2 rhythm.
Today I have discussed with you about 4 taals. I will discuss more taals with you later in any part. I'm finishing this part here today. I hope you like this part.
