HOW TO START LEARNING MUSIC FROM THE VERY BEGINNING (Part 4)

In two ways our musical disciples begin. First of all any of our acquaintances, or any relatives, who learn or sings, we get inspired by watching them sing and start learning music. It could also start differently. That is, none of my acquaintances are associated with music, but I often want to learn music from my own mind while listening to music. At the very beginning, our music gurus can be of two types. The first is from whom we can learn face to face. The second thing is we can learn music just by listening to different people's songs. However, if we learn music sitting in front of the guru, we have a chance to correct many mistakes. It is not possible to learn just by listening.

People get some misconceptions from the beginning. Many people think that if it takes 5 years to learn his own music or sing well, that's why it will also take 5 years for others to sing well. And that's how they continue to instruct the beginners. But it is completely wrong. Good singing depends on practice in the right way, on the practice of voice modulation, practice on different types of sargam and paltas in the right way and it depends on the tonal quality. This is why it is best to take music lessons face to face with a guru. There are many people who can sing well without any training. However, the learning of music is very important to understand.

The combination of 3 things we call music. Such as songs, instruments and dances. If you choose the subject of the song out of these 3 subjects, then you must know what are the requirements of the song. Tanpura and harmonium first. First of all, the sound of the harmonium must match the sound of the throat very well. I told you in the previous parts how to match. Please read those parts once more. Then it is very important to practice only in Tanpura. That means you have to practice without harmonium or keyboard. If you don't have a tanpura, you just have to practice with the harmonium or keyboard by playing "SAA" and "PA" together. So that you can sing in tune without the help of any instrument.
